Professional Microscopes for laboratory, industry and food
Refractometers measure the refractive index of liquids, pastes and solids with high precision. In close cooperation with well-known partners from industry and research, we have developed refractometers that can be easily integrated into existing processes in the laboratory.
A.KRÜSS offers two thermoelectric circulation thermostats with integrated Peltier technology for external temperature control. The temperature is generated by means of a current flow through semiconductors. So can be done by simply reversing the direction of flow in a small space both heating and cooling. The A.KRÜSS circulating thermostats fulfill all standard tasks and routine work in laboratories and industry. They are specially designed for sample temperature control, analysis tasks and for the temperature control of our high-quality laboratory equipment such as polarimeters and refractometers.
Discover our selection of high-performance benchtop centrifuges designed for versatile applications in laboratories, research facilities, and medical practices. From microcentrifuges for routine sample preparation to universal benchtop centrifuges accommodating various tube sizes and rotors, our range ensures reliable separation, efficient workflows, and user-friendly operation. These compact yet powerful devices provide precise speed control, safety features, and robust construction to support your daily centrifugation tasks with confidence. Equip your laboratory with quality centrifuges for consistent and reproducible results in diagnostics, analysis, and research.
Precision balances
Analytical balances are high-precision laboratory balances and are used in scientific and industrial laboratories of various industries to determine the mass of solid, bulk and liquid substances with an accuracy of 0.1 mg. Semi-microbalances are even more accurate - their readout resolution is 0.01 mg. Laboratory analytical balances according to OIML have a special accuracy class I. An important characteristic of any balance is the weighing range, the weighing range value for analytical balances from 50 g to 500 g.
The operation of modern electronic analytical balances is based on the principle of electromagnetic compensation. According to this principle, the weight of the load is compensated by an electromagnetic force directed opposite to the weight. The compensating force is determined by the strength of the current flowing in the magnetic coil. The electrical signal from the sensor is converted into digital, corresponding to the measured mass, and displayed on the display.
The analytical balance platform is located inside a transparent display case, which serves to eliminate the accumulation of dust and the influence of air currents on the measurement accuracy. The calibration of this precision instrument can be external, internal or automatic. Electronic analytical balances are equipped with a large number of additional functions:
